Harry was a gift of light in dark times.

Harry was born a year after my husband David, who was Jacqueline’s much loved cousin, died. He was exactly what our grieving family needed during these first years of adjusting to a world without David, who was also taken far too soon. Harry’s early years were such a gift to us as our broken hearts healed. As he played around his great Auntie Sue and Uncle Derek’s house and garden, the home where David grew up, the air was filled once more with laughter and our hearts were soothed by the joy of his young existence. He was a thoughtful, gentle and kind boy, always close by with a smile that suggested a wise, inner knowing, and his presence among us was tremendously uplifting. For myself and for his cousin Daisy, I will be eternally grateful that he came into the world when he did. Although we are now, yet again, utterly heartbroken, he was absolutely the angel of hope that we all needed during the darkest years of our lives. Thank you Harry, for bringing such sweet radiance into our lives.
